Use of Medical Interpreters

For patient safety and accurate understanding of medical explanations, patients who have difficulty communicating sufficiently in Japanese are required to have a certified medical interpreter or a family member/friend interpreter present during consultations. This is to prevent misunderstandings and ensure safety in diagnosis and treatment.

Rate of Self-Funded Charges

The rate for self-funded services (100%–280%) is determined based on our internal standards, taking into account the patient’s language proficiency and whether an interpreter is involved. This ensures adequate time and resources are secured for each consultation.

Reason for Fee Adjustment

Consultations conducted through an interpreter typically require about twice the time and staff effort compared to regular consultations. Additionally, extra time is needed to confirm the accuracy of medical terminology and maintain proper records. Therefore, our fee structure reflects the additional cost and effort required to ensure safe and accurate care.

关于医疗口译的使用

若患者无法以日语进行充分沟通，我们要求在就诊时必须由专业医疗口译员，或家属、朋友担任口译。此举旨在避免沟通误解，确保诊疗过程的安全与准确。

关于自费比例的设定

根据患者的语言状况及是否需要口译，我们会依照本机构标准，设定自费比例（100%〜280%）。此比例是为了保障诊疗所需的时间、人力及安全管理。

设定理由

通过口译进行的诊疗，通常比一般诊疗需要约两倍的时间和人力。此外，还需额外确认医学术语的准确传达与记录内容，因此本机构在费用中考虑了相应的时间与人力成本。
